ENVISION: Step into the sensory box

This fantastic video was created by artist duo, 'Superbien', Alex Mestrot & Tom Chosson, based in Paris, France. It's a seamless union of live footage and computer generated imagery. The animation and 3d mapping are spot-on and the symphony of colors, lighting effects and music simply captivate you.

Mesmerizing!

Curiouser and Curiouser!

Ok, Interactive books for the I-pad?
Apple is really pulling rabbits out of hats these days to get consumers to join Team Apple.

This new Alice In Wonderland interactive App for the Apple I-Pad, developed by Atomic Antelope, has readers shaking, flipping and rotating the I-pad to watch some very curious actions.
The app is being sold for $9/ £5.49 on Apple's Great Britain Site or FREE as a "Lite" version.

It's a marvelous idea and I can't wait to see what other designs and collaborations come next.
The links below are to Apple's Great Britain site. This App is not yet available on the US site.

My New Playmate...

Say hello to my little horizon blue ( #5A90A0 ) friend...
I found this little beauty at the Housing Works Thrift Shop on 17th Street.

Whilst hunting for vintageness, A little ivory colored box standing in a corner caught my eye.
I went to the corner, opened the box and there she was,
a vintage, 1965 Olivetti Underwood Typewriter, alone and forgotten. ::Sadness::
I briskly picked her up and made my way to check-out to purchase her. Can you guess how much?
She even came with a mummified bottle of liquid paper white-out and vintage typewriting paper that could pass for papyrus. LOL.

Anyway, this particular model I found, was manufactured in the Olivetti factory in Barcelona, Spain. 'How ironic!'

I can't help but clack away on the keys guys! I've already typed three limericks with her.
Talk about excited...
This is absolutely perfect for my creating my 2009 christmas cards. I'm in love.
